10 Νοε 2021 · I have tried to set up Outlook 2021 to access my Gmail account via POP. Yet it keeps failing - Gmail rejects my password. I can set up Outlook to access my Gmail account via IMAP, but that doesn't put the mails in my PST file, so I would really like to set up access via POP.

15 Σεπ 2023 · To fix mine i have to set up a "app password" on outlook.com and use that instead of my actual password. This negated the need for 2fa on the 3rdparty (Gmail) and started to work again. Hope this helps
