  1. Every single call with AA -- representatives assured I'll get a refund minimum, and told me to just ask customer relations. Now I found out this CR team has very limited template, none of them fits my case.

  2. Chat customer service is completely unhelpful and reservations over the phone is a joke. I know filing a complaint will only get me a heartfelt sympathy and not actually do anything so am I wrong or is the airline wrong? Usually the airline says it's the customer's phone.

  5. I had called American customer service plenty of times to know that airlines don't outsource their customer service like that nor do they ask for confirmation number, at least right away. In this case I was trying to call a specific line for United and had been having trouble finding it, which led to me accidentally calling a bad number.

  7. Make sure you respond to their emails when they send an inane apology. It took me a few emails over a little issue I was having but their customer service actually called me after my 3rd email. The customer service agent on the phone was great
