11 Ιουν 2024 · With Early Bird you still have to check-in. It holds your place in line, but you have to check-in before your flight regardless. You did not miss out on a better position by checking in at T-22 vs T-24 because your position was predetermined at T-36.

27 Ιουν 2024 · Upgraded Boarding and EarlyBird Check-In are 2 different ways to secure a better boarding position on Southwest Airlines. Upgraded Boarding, which guarantees an A1 to A15 position, is superior to EarlyBird Check-In, which checks you in automatically but doesn’t guarantee an A boarding position.
Early bird Check in A1-15 trouble. I have two segments of a flight. I check in and the first segment boarding position is fine. The second segment is not so I click buy A1-15 for the flight and go through and pay the $35.00. It applies it for the first segment but not the second.
