I call their 800 number and sit for 20 minutes through an automated system that wants to hear my order number and then tells me it cannot connect me to a person. I try again a few days later, eventually get to a person who says "I can't help with this, call the sales number".
No. You’re entitled to a refund of the part of the flight you didn’t use (the Denver to Missoula). Low cost airlines like frontier do not rebook you on other airlines and they aren’t liable for your choice to book another ticket. You can claim a refund of it all but not while keeping your return flight.
