Backup Flight - Boarding passes & security. Hello, what with the WestJet debacle I decided to purchase a backup flight home with Air Canada. Amazingly, the WestJet one has not yet been cancelled. My question is do both boarding passes need to be scanned at security?

24 Ιουν 2024 · Also for Air Canada, Westjet, is online check in and online boarding pass (mobile) allowed for onboard or i need to print the boarding pass in advance. For air canada, i was advised to purchase the luggage at check in, does that in online check in or at the counter ?
Flight was delayed by 9 hours and then at check in they issued boarding passes for Sydney > Vancouver and then Vancouver > Toronto Flight number is the same AC034 on both boarding passes. I just checked that boarding pass for the second flight from Vancouver > Toronto has the old time written on it.
