After the news of bags having a new 50 lb limit instead of 40 lb, I was curious if silver and gold members would still get any benefit regarding oversized bags fees being waived. And to my delight it seems they have no oversized weight limit.

I initially wanted it but I did a quick dry fit of personal item size and fit everything I needed to fit. I bought the tickets more then 24 hours at this point so I just wanted to know if there was still a way to refund the checked bag cost. Spirit does not refund bag costs.
