1 ημέρα πριν · Before you resort to pulling the engine out to replace the oil pump, you could try removing the synchonizer. Using a cordless drill with a socket and extension, you can spin the oil pump and check if the oil is coming out of the feed hole in the head. I'd do it with the rocker gear off.
3 ημέρες πριν · Valve cover gasket: Out of the three BEAMS engines I have owned, all three have had oil in the spark plug tubes when I got them. It’s a quick and easy fix, just replace the valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals. Problem solved.

3 ημέρες πριν · end result is 0 oil pressure, so this morning i opened up the ford workshop manual and began to remove the sump, turns out being an au engine the sump wont come out the way the book says, i undid the engine mounts and lifted up the engine as stated in the manual, then i undid all the sump bolts and tryed to wriggle it out to no avail,
