Hey, I realize this is a very old post but all you have to do is change the name of the function "fuelPercentage" in "ElectricCar.java" to "getFuelLevel". Replace it whereever you typed "fuelPercentage" in your code. This has to do with overriding; It has to be called the same as in the superclass. 2. Reply.
It's because in your Electric Car class, you called your function getFuelPercentage() but it's suppose to override the getFuelLevel() method in the Car class. This causes the Electric Car object to only call the getFuelLevel() in the Car class when the object is created.
