18 Ιουλ 2022 · House of the Dragon is an adaptation of an infamous event from his book ‘Fire & Blood’, a civil war known as ‘The Dance of The Dragons’. The book was re-released recently with a tie-in art from House of The Dragon, and Martin already has plans for a second book in the series.

It chronicles the history of House Targaryen beginning with the Doom of Valyria from the perspective of Archmaester Gyldayn. The full title of the in-universe book as written by Gyldayn is Fire & Blood, Being a History of the Targaryen Kings of Westeros .
