Φάρμακο. Σύντομη περιγραφή. Το ιδιοσκεύασμα T3 περιέχει ως δραστικό συστατικό συνθετικά παρασκευαζόμενη liothyronine (L-τριιωδοθυρονίνη, ορμόνη του θυρεοειδή αδένα), σε μικροκρυσταλλική μορφή του μετά νατρίου άλατος. Η φυσιολογική και φαρμακολογική δράση του φαρμάκου ταυτίζεται απόλυτα με τη δράση της L-τριιωδοθυρονίνης του θυρεοειδή αδένα.
