Bantay Abot Cave is a natural rock formation and tourist attraction along the shores of Balaoi, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. [1] Despite being called a cave, Bantay Abot means "mountain with a hole". [2]
It's actually a natural arch carved by the wind and the sea and not a cave in the strict sense. Just pull over along the road and take a few steps down to the beach area to reach it. Be careful when climbing to the top of the rock formation.
