2 Ιουν 2023 · This is a ready to “heat and eat” home-canned pure bolognese-style spaghetti sauce, with ground meat in it. This recipe requires a pressure canner. If you don’t have one, make instead a pasta sauce for canning in a boiling water canner, and fry up ground meat to add at the time of serving.
Spaghetti Meat Sauce Pressure Canning Recipe. Yield: Approx. 7 quarts or 14 pints. This is my go-to sauce when making a variety of meals requiring any red sauce base. My family’s favorite is Stuffed Shells using this sauce for the base and as its topper with cheese before serving.

Units: US. 5 lbs ground beef. 2 cups chopped onions. 1 cup chopped green pepper. 9 cups cooked tomatoes or 9 cups canned tomatoes with juice. 2 2⁄3 cups tomato paste. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 2 tablespoons minced parsley. 1 1⁄2 tablespoons salt. 1 tablespoon oregano. 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper. 1⁄2 teaspoon ginger. 1⁄2 teaspoon allspice.
