This picturesque 24-mile corridor hugs the coastline, boasting pristine beaches, rare coastal dune lakes, and distinctive beach towns each with their own unique flavor.
This is a map of our little beach community. Old Florida “State Road 30” once started at the Alabama state line and meandered 283 miles east across the panhandle. Several “alternate routes” (hence the “A” in 30A) offered drivers a slower scenic option, usually along the beach.

The “panhandle” hugs the Gulf of Mexico in Florida and is situated directly under Alabama and Georgia, making it a popular vacation spot for southerners.
27 Ιουν 2009 · The combination of Florida State Road 30A and County Road 30A forms a loop joining U.S. 98 with SR 30E to Cape San Blas and St. Joseph Peninsula. Measuring 6.661, leg along St. Joseph Bay is state maintained. County Road 30A continues the road 12.09 miles east to Money Beach, Indian Lagoon and U.S. 98 near Nine Mile.
