The VinFast LUX SA2.0 is a 5+2-seater mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by Vietnamese automaker VinFast between 2019 and 2022. The vehicle was built on a BMW X5 (F15) platform restyled by Pininfarina. It was revealed at the 2018 Paris Motor Show alongside the VinFast LUX A2.0 sedan.
12 Αυγ 2023 · Not required. Recommended for optimal performance per the owners manual. My 2.0 hasn't seen anything but 85-87 octane for 37k miles. I live at 7000 ft and octane is reduced at altitude. I haven't heard it ping ever.
8 Ιαν 2020 · My 2019 2.0T user's manual states to use at least 87 octane fuel as a minimum. I have used premium as I heared turbos are more prone to engine knock. Since the maual is for both the 2.0T and the naturally aspirated 2.4 owners, I am surprised the booklet states 87 and not noting engine type, thus seemingly it's the same for both.
21 Οκτ 2020 · Just wondering what gas type 2.0 T owners are using as I will be getting a 2021 JLUR soon and trying to decide what I want to do fuel wise. I know the manual says the 87 octane can be used but that 91 or higher gives peak performance.
25 Μαΐ 2005 · If you can't afford premium fuel, you should consider a non-turbo engine. Sorry, but fools marketing in the owners manual will never convince me to run regular when boosted, regardless of the automaker.
24 Μαρ 2021 · My 2.0 Turbo is running 'regular' gas and getting a steady 27.5- 28MPG city. That is what it is designed to run. Any more than that is a waste of money. Around here, regular gas is 4.15/gallon (USD equivalent) to 4.68 for premium.
20 Αυγ 2018 · I have a 2013 eos sport, with 2.0 turbo engine. Premium fuel is recommended, but is it ok to use regular gas?
