30 Ιουν 2018 · what is fords recommended interval for oil change ona 2.7 ecoboost engine 2017. Ford’s oil life monitor is very good. It seems like 10,000 miles is the default “maximum” length, but will reduce it as necessary per your driving conditions.
24 Ιουν 2021 · On previous vehicles I've always changed every 3,000 miles but I've never had something as new and high tech as my 2015 2.7L EcoBoost, nor have I ever had a turbocharged vehicle before. I'm just curious what intervals most people are going by. Thanks!
1 Ιουλ 2023 · The recommended oil change interval for the F150 5.0L and Ecoboost engines is every 4000- 5000 miles or every 3-5 months (based on an average of 1200 miles driven a month). Now, this is a general rule and my personal recommendation based on my experience as a mechanic.
21 Ιουλ 2022 · I have checked the oil a few times between oil changes and the oil on the dipstick is always at the right level and a good color. I guess I will do the 7 oil changes included in my contract and go from there.
Ford 2.7 EcoBoost Engine Problems and Reliability. The 2.7L EcoBoost engine has a short history and no common problems at low mileage. There are few owner reports of blown head gaskets, replacing cylinder heads under warranty, and leaking plastic oil pan.
22 Φεβ 2024 · i'm going to stay on a 4k mile change interval. 111,800 miles, oil was nice and clean with no fuel smell, filter was clean. man, this was the easiest oil change i've ever done, the top mount filter is great. used full synthetic 5-30 and a mototcraft filter. 2016 2.7 ecoboost 2 wd supercab.
