Hi, I’m wondering if you have to use the forge build 1403 as I’m currently using the latest forge build 1614. My question is does this impact anything with the DBC mod or what?

9 Μαΐ 2015 · Heya, so I had trouble running a Modpack, and after removing all the mods, all I had left was just Minecraft 1.7.10 and Forge. So I deleted everything, and downloaded Forge-10.13.3.1403-1.7.10, did a plain install with the installer (for Win), and the same happend. fml-client-latest.log (Java 8 )...
7 Ιαν 2010 · Vanilla Minecraft install. Installed Forge 10.13.3.1403. Using Java 1.7.0_79. No other mods.
Go for 1614. There were some changes between 1558 and 1614 that mods later used. One such improvement was forge allowing a mod define an item burn time. As this is 1.7.10 "usually" going for the last released version of forge is best.
