In the Economy or Premium Economy cabins, your hand baggage and personal items can weigh up to 12 kg (26.4 lb) in total. If you are traveling in the Business cabin or in La Première, your hand baggage and personal items can weigh up to 18 kg (40 lb) in total.
The allowance type, by weight or number of items, and the amount charged varies according to your destination, class of service, and frequent flyer status. Air France provides each passenger with the baggage allowance for their particular trip on the electronic ticket and Trip Summary.
You can transport a bag with dimensions that exceed 158 cm/62.2 in. (height + length + width), so long as it does not go over 300 cm/118 in. The price of an Overweight Baggage option depends on your itinerary and must be paid for at the airport.
You can benefit from the baggage allowance (maximum number and weight of baggage allowed) that corresponds to the fare of each seat you have purchased. For all other information and for booking, please contact our call centers.
For most Economy Class passengers, the allowance is one piece of baggage weighing up to 23kg (50.7lbs) for domestic and short-haul international flights. Business Class passengers enjoy a higher allowance of two bags, each weighing up to 32kg (70.5lbs).
