In the Economy or Premium Economy cabins, your hand baggage and personal items can weigh up to 12 kg (26.4 lb) in total. If you are traveling in the Business cabin or in La Première, your hand baggage and personal items can weigh up to 18 kg (40 lb) in total. Your cabin is shown on your ticket.
The allowance type, by weight or number of items, and the amount charged varies according to your destination, class of service, and frequent flyer status. Air France provides each passenger with the baggage allowance for their particular trip on the electronic ticket and Trip Summary.
Air France Airlines have a strict policy, and an overweight baggage fee will apply for any baggage in excess of the cabin or checked baggage allowance. Check the baggage weight limit for your Air France Airlines fare in the table above before you fly.
For most Economy Class passengers, the allowance is one piece of baggage weighing up to 23kg (50.7lbs) for domestic and short-haul international flights. Business Class passengers enjoy a higher allowance of two bags, each weighing up to 32kg (70.5lbs).
Cabin baggages mustn’t exceed 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm. Accessory items cannot be larger than 40 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm. In terms of weight, economy passengers’ items mustn’t be heavier than 12 kg, and that limit jumps to 18kg for folks in Air France upper-class cabins. Checked baggage
