I continued to refresh and exit out and re visit Cheapoairs's website and continued to get the same fare only to be told after entering my credit card info that the price had changed. For the last hour I've gone back to Cheapoair on my iPad and phone and have been allowed to select this lower price only to be told the fare has gone up.

Cheapoair.com scamming passengers. 2 years ago. In November 18th, 2021, I bought a ticket on Cheapoair.com to fly with American Airlines from New York to Bangkok. I paid using Paypal. Hours later I received an email saying my Paypal was denied, something untrue once the full payment was already on hold at my Paypal an at my credit card.
If you booked on a credit card - if you didn't you might not be able to do that. Plus I'm sure OP wants the cost of a new ticket refunded (as that'll likely cost more), rather than the other one which is not something a credit card company can necessarily handle.
