Payment has left my account (this morning, not last Friday) to Expedia, but I haven't received a confirmation email. I tried to login to my account, but couldn't remember the password. I clicked on 'forgot password' and it said they would send a reset email but this hasn't happened.
25 Ιουν 2015 · Some Expedia customers have been emailed and called from someone pretending to work at the reputable company, after a breach at a third party disclosed their names, phone numbers, email addresses and travel bookings.
They will confirm your reservation and send you another email confirmation with your itinerary info (i.e. date of stay, check-in and check-out time, confirmation number, etc.). If you have mistakenly sent your credit card information through, contact your bank and cancel your card immediately.
I contacted expedia today after getting this exactly worded email concerning an actual booking I have with expedia. Customer service simply told me not to click any links "just yet" and that they'd check with the hotel "who might have sent the message" and then confirmed that the hotel hadn't issued the email.
I did not receive a single email from Expedia regarding this booking, no confirmation, no itenerary, nothing. (not in my junk mail either) and my bank account did not show any money going through. I believed this booking did not go through and made other plans.
18 Απρ 2024 · This came through the messaging system on the Expedia App (Message notification was sent to me via text and email from Expedia). Instructions were to enter all CC info (for pre authorization to confirm my booking) and then send over authorization code from the CC company.
