18 Δεκ 2020 · See that you get a 403: disallowed_useragent error. And to prove that there does seem a way for this to be done in the wild: Ensure your phone doesn't have Pinterest installed (or else your phone will open it in the native app).

After hours of research I eventually discovered they had been sent a link to my app in Facebook Messenger, clicked it and tried to login within the messengers webview; which obviously failed.

16 Αυγ 2022 · Solution. Google blocks log-in attempts from webviews/embedded browsers. Our latest SDKs should be using the device browser. But if changes were made to use an embedded browser, or the user is being directed to a website from within a 3rd party application that uses webviews for weblinks, then this issue can arise.

22 Σεπ 2021 · In the vast majority of cases, the Error: disallowed_useragent will occur because the Android or iOS app makes a login request that Google rejects. The most common reason for this rejection is an unauthorized browser agent (the app is using a deprecated browser agent that Google no longer accepts).
