Maximum weight is 50 pounds and maximum size is 62 inches (length + width + height) per checked piece of luggage. For the cost of each additional Bag, Overweight Baggage, and Oversize Baggage, please visit the Optional Travel Charges page. Any item weighing more than 100 pounds must be shipped as Air Cargo.
You may bring one carryon bag and one personal item without charge (subject to the limitations below). The bag should be stowed in the overhead compartment, and your small personal item should be stowed under your seat. Sizing up your carryon and personal item: One carryon bag. Goes in overhead bin; Size limits: 24” (L) + 16” (W) + 10” (H)
10 Απρ 2024 · With the Southwest baggage rules, your first two checked bags are free if they fit within the allowed weight and size limits. Specifically, each checked bag should weigh 50 pounds or less and be 62 inches in size (the sum of the bag's length, width and height) or smaller.
27 Μαρ 2024 · Southwest’s carry-on baggage size cannot exceed 24” L x 16” W x 10” H, while the size limitation for a personal item is 16.25” L x 13.5” W x 8” H and must fit under the seat in front of you.
1 Φεβ 2024 · The carry-on bag dimensions are limited to 24 x 16 x 10 inches. If your carry-on does not fit the dimensions above, Southwest will be forced to check it at the gate. Unlike other low-cost carriers like Frontier and Spirit Airlines, the carry-on is free.
