24 Ιουλ 2018 · I'm confused about the size restrictions of checked luggage and I'm hoping you can help me. I just purchased a new samsonite 29" spinner suitcase for our upcoming trip. I know the airline policy is 62" and my suitcase would be just under that at 61.5.
10 Απρ 2024 · With the Southwest baggage rules, your first two checked bags are free if they fit within the allowed weight and size limits. Specifically, each checked bag should weigh 50 pounds or less and be 62 inches in size (the sum of the bag's length, width and height) or smaller.
You may bring one carryon bag and one personal item without charge (subject to the limitations below). The bag should be stowed in the overhead compartment, and your small personal item should be stowed under your seat. Sizing up your carryon and personal item: One carryon bag. Goes in overhead bin; Size limits: 24” (L) + 16” (W) + 10” (H)
Maximum weight is 50 pounds and maximum size is 62 inches (length + width + height) per checked piece of luggage.
