  1. If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of booking, you can choose either to a) receive a method-of-payment refund or b) hold the value of the ticket as a flight credit or Transferable Flight Credit TM (depending on the fare) to buy a future flight.

  2. If booked with Wanna Get Away® or with Wanna Get Away Plus™ fare class and you cancelled your flight at least 10 minutes prior to travel, the air portion of your booking will be refunded in a Southwest Airlines air credit, which may be used on a future trip with Southwest Vacations.

  3. Look for the Manage Reservations option on our website or app and then tap or click the Cancel option. Our website and the Southwest app also allow eligible Customers to cancel a portion of their trip while keeping the other portion of the reservation available to fly.

Your refund request must contain the following information: Customer name, Southwest Airlines confirmation number, Southwest Vacations confirmation number, and original scheduled date of departure. If you booked a trip through Southwest Vacations, please call Southwest Vacations Customer care at 833-446-7335.

  5. Please contact Southwest Vacations' Customer Care at (800) 243-8372 to change or cancel your reservation. All changes and cancellations must be received and confirmed by Southwest Vacations' Customer Care prior to departure.

  6. Change or cancel your flight with no change fee when you book a flight on Southwest Airlines.

  7. If you decide not to travel as a result of a significant flight delay or Southwest-initiated cancellation, you can cancel your reservation and then either a) request a method-of-payment refund or b) hold the value of the ticket as a flight credit that you can use to buy a future flight.
