Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.
5 Φεβ 2024 · Just as with carry-on bags, Spirit Airlines checked bag fees vary depending on when you book them and the size of the bag. But the weight is critical. Spirit checked bags cannot exceed 40 pounds without getting hit with additional fees.
If you are accessing your reservation less than 24 hours prior to departure, simply go to the Online Check-in tab and follow the instructions to access your reservation. You can then click the "Add Bags" link to purchase additional bags.
Can I check bags with the Spirit Airlines (NK) online web check-in?: Yes, you may check bags but you must drop them at the airport baggage drop before the check-in deadline for your flight. Can I pay bag fees with the Spirit Airlines (NK) online web check-in?:
Bags purchased within 24 hours prior to departure will be charged at the online check-in rate, so buy bags early and save major moola. If you don’t check in online, our kiosks at the airport are self-serve and easy to use. Some Guests may not be able to complete check-in online (see below).
If you check in online and purchase your bags in advance (that weigh 50 lbs. or less), you are eligible for our Bag Drop service at the airport. PRO TIP : If you are traveling internationally, you'll be required to enter your passport information before buying any bags or seats and printing your boarding pass.
