U.S. Department of Transportation Service Animal Air Transportation Form. According to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, an agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information unless it deplays a valid OMB control number. The estimated burden to complete this form is 15 minutes.
Spirit Airlines does not accept animals on international flights, except in the case of service animals. Depending on the international destination, specific documentation regarding the service animal may be required.
Spirit does not accept pets on international flights. Exotic pets (snakes, rodents, etc.) are strictly prohibited. A maximum of 2 pets can travel in a single carrier, and only one carrier is allowed per passenger. The combined weight of your pet and its carrier cannot exceed 40 lbs (18.14 kg).
