The population of the Tri-Cities metropolitan area was 253,540 based on the 2010 Census, making it the fourth largest metropolitan area in Washington State. Kennewick, Richland and West Richland are located in Benton County while Pasco is located in Franklin County (see Tri-Cities Area Maps & Communities ).
