Life is sacred from conception to death. We believe that God creates each person as either male or female, and that this reflects the image of God in humankind (Genesis 2:23-25, Leviticus 18:1-20, Romans 1:18-31, 1 Timothy 1:8-11) We believe in the Gospel of Jesus – the Good News of Salvation that Jesus brings.
The other women in the book are written with the same dignity, respect, and seriousness he affords his male characters, so Grace’s chapters mostly read as McElroy lashing out at the prevailing second wave feminism of the era in which Women and Men was written.

Dean Jackson. Minister. Dean and his wife Lisa came to McElroy Road in June of 2014. He and Lisa were married in 1990, and they have two grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandsons. Tim, Kate, Judah and Ezra live in Lock Haven, PA, and Daniel and Ariana live in Lexington, KY.
