This webpage has information on driver licenses, identification cards, and instruction permits, and organizes it by driver ages, legal status and those new to Colorado. Please note: State driver license offices are not offering Driving Skills Tests (drive tests) at this time.
Look at what you can do on myDMV.colorado.gov before scheduling an in-office appointment. Our site offers most services online, saving you time and effort. Don't see what you need online? You will need to schedule an appointment to visit a DMV office.
Schedule or cancel an appointment online at a driver license office. Schedule a Drive Test Appointment in Rural Office: Call (303) 205-5600, option 1, option 4. Alert: Unofficial DMV Websites. All state driver license offices are now accepting appointments.
Renewals. You may renew your adult driver license or ID card at any time prior to the expiration date - you shouldn't wait until it expires‚ online renewals aren't possible if your license is expired over one year.
Registration. First-time vehicle registration transactions can be completed online through myDMV (Vehicle Services tab) or directly with your county motor vehicle office, once you receive your Title Complete notice from the county.
