A lot of people use the divide your age by 2 plus 7 age rule when considering to date someone. This rule determines the minimum age you could date/be with someone, there is also one for max age. Is this still ok to use if both parties are on the border line of the spectrum?
Usually when the age of consent is X there's a line in there that says if the two people are within a couple years of each other's age (and not in a authority-subordinate position) then the statutory rape law doesn't apply.
