For those of you that haven't seen Air NZ are offering seats for sale through sella.co.nz. These appear to be international flights and have a $1 reserve. First seats will be going up later today and it seems that they will be running a series of 24hr auctions on a weekly basis. Sella.co.nz is an online auction site like trademe or ebay.
