We fly Airtran at least twice a year from IND to Florida. The reasons are price, non stop flights from IND to TPA and MCOand the fact that we have not had any probles with them. I have avoided conections thru ATL, so i can not advise you on that.
We have been flying Airtran for several years and prefer them over major airlines. Yes, price has much to do with it, but as stated earlier, the planes are new and the service is good. IMO there is no risk in using them.
Answer 1 of 9: I am flying from Seattle - Portland, ME via Baltimore this summer. Is AirTran a good airline? Could anyone share their experiences?
1 Ιαν 2007 · We took a chance and tried Airtran Airways' nonstop flight from Canton/Akron to Boston for $134/ea. By far the least expensive AND no layovers. Flight to Boston went fine. Plane (717) looked clean and surprisingly new as we assumed the aircraft would be older.
