Avelo makes flying a little more enjoyable than the norm. The cancellation policy alone gives a “feel good” vibe–like they actually care about their customers and that things happen, plans change, and it's no biggie!
TLDR: AVELO is the worst airline I’ve ever flown and deals with shady, unethical business practices. DO NOT FLY AVELO. When purchasing an airling ticket, am I buying my way through the door of the plane?
As far as my thoughts on Avelo, I got invited to interview with them after attending the RTAG convention and then did a phone screen a few weeks later. Personally I was very impressed with what I heard on their interview on the Airlines Confidential podcast and their model is smart.

5 Μαΐ 2022 · An Avelo 737. Opinions – Good. The aircraft were both well cleaned, which I find impressive given how quickly planes are turned around (mine were on the ground less than 40 minutes). The livery is plain on the inside, which might be due to the lack of a consistent seat, or just to save money.
