The weight of the bag at the airport may differ from the weight measured at home. Bags exceeding 32kg (70lb) cannot be checked in in some countries, regardless of excess baggage fees. Double check that you are not carrying any items on board that are restricted.
2 Ιουλ 2024 · For international flights, Korean Air charges $50 to $100 for overweight bags weighing 23 to 32 kilograms and $100 to $200 for bags weighing 33 to 45 kilograms. Oversized bags measuring 158 to 203 centimeters max linear dimensions will be charged $75 to $200 depending on the route.

23 Οκτ 2023 · Checked Bag Weight Limit. Your standard checked bag can weigh up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms). If your checked bag exceeds 50 pounds, it will be considered overweight. Korean Air will charge you an overweight bag fee when you check your bag at the airport. Korean Air won’t accept checked bags weighing more than 100 pounds (45 kilograms).
For domestic flights within Korea, Economy Class passengers are allowed one free checked bag weighing up to 20 kilograms (44 pounds), while Prestige and First Class passengers can bring two bags weighing up to 30 kilograms (66 pounds) each.
