  1. 5 Ιουλ 2021 · The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly, has today signed regulations that move the COVID-19 Passenger Locator form to an online only system. Completion of the form online in advance of travel to Ireland will also be a pre-boarding requirement for passengers.

  4. The Public Health Passenger Locator Form will allow for the operation of a system to spot checks on incoming passengers to ensure that they are self-isolating. This policy is intended to protect everyone from imported or community cases of COVID-19, including those travelling to Ireland.

  5. All passengers arriving to Ireland from overseas are expected to self-isolate for 14 days on entry into the state. Self-isolation means staying indoors and completely avoiding contact with other people. This applies to all passengers, regardless of which country you have travelled from or your country of citizenship (i.e. including Irish citizens).

  6. A one-time passcode is issued by the electronic Passenger Locator Form (ePLF) system, using contact details provided by the passenger. The passenger must enter this code in order to be able to proceed with completing the online form.

  7. Please complete all necessary 10 arrival forms. Passengers may be required to present a completed passenger locator form upon arrival and entry to your destination, along with your EU DCC. Upon your return to Ireland, you must present your EU DCC and a completed electronic passenger locator form.
