For the national parks, national monuments, national historic sites and other federally-managed sites, the America the Beautiful pass covers the entry fee to all of the federal sites for one year; over 2,000 locations, but not any state parks.
California state park pass - worth it? I already have the America the Beautiful pass ($80 for a year, accepted at all national parks + some other parks), but it isn’t accepted at state parks like Torrey Pines State Beach. Is the California Explorer pass worth it? It’s $195 for a year which seems like a lot.

I ended up printing both lists for the two passes listed above and hi-lighting the parks that are on the Explorer pass, but not not on the Golden Poppy (currently $70 cheaper).
