Today I shared my files for Mac OS Lion 10.7.2: system preference\ Sharing\ select file share and set the permissions for users. Then I went to my client Windows pc and mapped the drive network via my computer\network. map drive network and typed the ip address of the Mac. Everything was fine.
19 Μαρ 2019 · Users are getting disconnected from a shared network drive with the error: " (Folder name) is not accessible. The network location cannot be reached…" Usually the user either has to sign out then back in, or reboot their computer, and sometimes the only thing that works is re-mapping the entire drive.
I use Mac OS 10.6 to connect to a NAS drive using the afp protocol (Finder -> Go -> Connect To Server). I have set up the NAS to automatically power off during the day, and power on in the evening. Now what happens is this: each time the NAS powers off, the network share disappears.
27 Απρ 2019 · I've mapped several shared folders to different drives on my computer for easy access. However, the mapping rarely works after I reboot the computer. I've gotten a multitude of different error messages, with the latest being the one shown below. Once I get the error, I have to disconnect the drives and remap them.
