15 Νοε 2023 · I got this Mac from my brother and he wiped it clean before giving it to me, however when I go to install OS X it gives me 403 Forbidden after I type in my Apple ID. Nothing on recovery disk, I have tried to set the date and time in terminal and tried to connect it direct via Ethernet and no luck.
recently bought a second hand imac and tried fresh installing el capitan, but it gives me error code “403 forbidden” after apple credentials are input and app store connection is attempted. any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!
24 Νοε 2020 · It turns out that the Big Sur's XCode command-line tools aren't good enough for MacPorts. You need to manually download Command Line Tools for Xcode 12.2 from https://developer.apple.com/download/more/?=command%20line%20tools

When I choose install, a "Finding Software" loading bar runs through but then ends with the following message: "can't install the software because it is not currently available from the software update server"

19 Φεβ 2024 · One reason is that the Lion installer you linked is in a .dmg archive with a .pkg file that is used to extract & create the "Install macOS Lion" app. AFAIK, then only way to extract those contents successfully is by running that .pkg file on a system compatible with Lion.
