18 Δεκ 2020 · TLDR: One way to resolve this is to perform the native authentication and then redirect the user back to the webview with id_token as a URL parameter. Please note that this is not a quick and dirty solution. Changing the user agent violates Google policies and is not a long-term solution. It also seems to have stopped working.

After hours of research I eventually discovered they had been sent a link to my app in Facebook Messenger, clicked it and tried to login within the messengers webview; which obviously failed.

16 Αυγ 2022 · Problem Statement. When trying to log in via Google social connection on mobile using a webview/embedded browser, users receive an error from Google: Error 403: disallowed_useragent. Solution. Google blocks log-in attempts from webviews/embedded browsers. Our latest SDKs should be using the device browser.

23 Αυγ 2023 · I attached the screenshot for this error page. We also did some testing on Emulator, and tried to switch with multiple useragents, but seems like the issue with the link itself rather than the device/user-agent.
