18 Δεκ 2020 · TLDR: One way to resolve this is to perform the native authentication and then redirect the user back to the webview with id_token as a URL parameter. Please note that this is not a quick and dirty solution. Changing the user agent violates Google policies and is not a long-term solution. It also seems to have stopped working.

22 Σεπ 2021 · In the vast majority of cases, the Error: disallowed_useragent will occur because the Android or iOS app makes a login request that Google rejects. The most common reason for this rejection is an unauthorized browser agent (the app is using a deprecated browser agent that Google no longer accepts).

31 Μαΐ 2022 · Hello, I am getting a 403 disallowed_useragent error when some users try to authenticate using Google from my react-native app, using webAuth. As I searched, this is related to the browser app installed in the user device.
16 Αυγ 2022 · Solution. Google blocks log-in attempts from webviews/embedded browsers. Our latest SDKs should be using the device browser. But if changes were made to use an embedded browser, or the user is being directed to a website from within a 3rd party application that uses webviews for weblinks, then this issue can arise.
