The New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) helps eligible New York residents attending in-state postsecondary institutions pay for tuition. Part-time TAP helps eligible New York residents attending in-state, post-secondary institutions on a part-time basis pay for tuition.
Pathways to Apply for 2024-25 TAP. Students currently have two options to submit the 2024-25 TAP application; “Traditional” pathway for FAFSA filers using the NYS Student Aid Payment Application (https://www.tap.hesc.ny.gov/totw/) NYS DREAM Act pathway, via the NYS DREAM Act TAP application (hesc.ny.gov/dream)
