20 Οκτ 2007 · I've selected some Japanese text in the PDF and clicked Edit - Copy. But when I paste it anywhere else (Google, Word, a browser, my flashcard program, etc.) all that shows are squares or question marks.

I'm currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro, and have seen some success in copying the majority of the text and formatting, but punctuation (、「 」。etc) just does not get scanned correctly, and either gets copied as numbers or -. Does anybody know how to get this working?
