With Hainan Airlines, we have the first out of four Chinese big players in the top 20. Ryanair is no longer in the top 10 and ranks 11th.

26 Μαρ 2024 · Through these three metrics, we can see that American Airlines is the largest airline in the world, taking the number one spot in fleet size and number of employees. It's also very close to being number one by destinations served, falling shy by just a bit.
17 Αυγ 2021 · EasyJet, Lufthansa, and Shenzhen Airlines are back on the list of the world’s largest airlines by the number of flights. EasyJet directly enters the list at position 12, whereas Lufthansa ranks 17th and Shenzhen 19th. Due to its massive growth, Ryanair surpasses Air China and China Express and ranks 6th.
