26 Μαΐ 2021 · Rank 50 — 41: World’s Biggest Airlines by Fleet Size. Portugal’s TAP kicks off the list of the 50 biggest airlines by fleet size. Besides TAP, we have some airlines that operate an identical fleet size. Etihad Airways, S7, and Frontier all operate 104 aircraft.

As of 2023, Delta Air Lines was the largest by revenue, assets, fleet size, market capitalization and brand value; American Airlines Group by passengers carried and employees; FedEx Express by freight tonne-kilometers; Southwest Airlines by routes; and Turkish Airlines by countries served.

Below is a sortable list of the world's largest airlines ranked by the amount of passengers. Ranked are airlines with more than 10 million passengers annually. Leading on top, three of the biggest US airlines: Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, and American Airlines.
17 Αυγ 2021 · EasyJet, Lufthansa, and Shenzhen Airlines are back on the list of the world’s largest airlines by the number of flights. EasyJet directly enters the list at position 12, whereas Lufthansa ranks 17th and Shenzhen 19th. Due to its massive growth, Ryanair surpasses Air China and China Express and ranks 6th.
