The Caucasus (/ ˈ k ɔː k ə s ə s /), or Caucasia (/ k ɔː ˈ k eɪ ʒ ə /), is a transcontinental region between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, mainly comprising Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and parts of Southern Russia.
