Set machine on a level surface. Clean the area around the dip stick. Start and run engine for 20-30 seconds. This will return oil to its true level in the oil tank. Stop engine, remove dipstick (A) and wipe dry with a clean cloth. Reinstall dipstick, screw the dipstick into place.

22 Ιουλ 2013 · The oil pump is held in place by 4 allen head screws (# 6MM allen wrench)... turned out that the counter balance bearings went out. this motor never had great oil pressure, and i suspect it has something to do with it having the case welded at some point.
14 Δεκ 2007 · Did Polaris change something on the pump? There is no fricken way I can get close to the adjustment screw. I have a lot of parts removed already and still not any closer.
Insert the tube of a hand pump oil extractor into the fill hole. Direct the hose toward the bottom front area of the cover, away from the chain/sprocket. Extract the oil from the chaincase. Lower the snowmobile. Using a funnel, slowly add the recommended oil until the fluid begins to overflow.
