The United Airlines Boeing 787-9 version present here is configured with the following cabins: United Polaris Business Class - 48 open suites feature a seat that transforms into a fully lie-flat bed. United Premium Plus - 21 recliner style seats feature additional legroom and wider seats than the ones in Economy Class.
The Premium Economy section includes 21 seats with a recline of 6 inches, while the 194 Economy seats offer a pitch of 31 inches (79 cm). United's Dreamliners are equipped with satellite Wi-Fi, allowing passengers to stay connected throughout their flight.

Despite what some reviewiers have said about the 787's 3-3-3 seating, I found the Economy Plus seat 17L quite comfortable. I had the added bonus of two windows for this three-hour morning flight from Houston to Los Angeles.
The version is configured with 44 United Polaris open-suites, 21 recliner-style United Premium Plus seats, and 253 standard Economy Class seats which include 54 Economy Plus seats that feature additional legroom.
The Premium Plus seats are identical to the First Class seats on some Airbus A320s. The seat does have a footrest. Although in my own opinion, I felt like the footrest could be better since you could barely stretch your legs.
