To travel with your pet as checked baggage, you can complete the online request form. Pets are accepted for travel on Qatar Airways flights in accordance with international air travel regulations.
With effect from 11 January 2021, Qatar Airways will only accept service animal (SVAN) on board QR operated flights on regulated routes to assist passengers with a disability, with a maximum of 2 dogs per passenger.
Qatar Airways accepts domesticated dogs, cats, and birds as checked baggage, either on your flight or separately. There is no limit to the number of pets that can travel as checked baggage, however there may be weight or space limitations based on aircraft type.

There are free flights available for service dogs in the cabin with Qatar Airways. However, the free flight is only available when going to the U.S., Switzerland, Norway, India, Georgia, the European Union, Canada, Brazil, or Australia.
