15 Μαρ 2016 · I am trying to install google repo on my machine. The reference link is http://source.android.com/source/downloading.html#installing-repo. After chmod a+x ~/bin/repo, and after installing repo go ahead with further steps. Do I have execute the repo file? I just understood that I need to install repo before proceeding to further steps but how?

Repo is a tool built on top of Git. Repo helps manage many Git repositories, does the uploads to revision control systems, and automates parts of the development workflow. Repo is not meant to replace Git, only to make it easier to work with Git.
