If any portion of your itinerary contains an international flight and you plan to check luggage, you will be required to do so at the Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter upon arrival at the airport. You cannot checkin or check luggage at the curbside if traveling on an international itinerary.

For checked baggage, Southwest Airlines offers a generous policy. Each passenger is allowed to check up to two bags, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds (23 kilograms) and maximum dimensions of 62 inches (158 cm) in overall length, width, and height.
